DVAG · Planning in the parish

Planning,
at a glance.

A small utility for parish residents. Pop in your postcode and see every planning application within Dinedor (and a wider three-kilometre view) from the last 24 months. A handy way to keep half an eye on the village without trawling the council portal.

A heads-up

This page isn’t about the solar campaign. It’s a quiet little neighbourly tool we built so anyone in the parish can glance at what’s being applied for, without learning how the council’s planning portal works.

Search by postcode

Every application within your parish.

Enter a Dinedor parish postcode and we’ll show every planning application from the last 24 months, plus a handful more from the immediate surroundings. Postcodes outside the parish are politely declined. Nothing is stored.

Your postcode is used briefly to find your parish and the matching applications, then discarded. We don’t keep any record of it.

About this data

A few things worth knowing.

How fresh the data is, what’s left out, and where to look if you want chapter and verse.

  1. 01

    Council data, made glanceable.

Every application you see here is drawn from the public planning record. For the full case file (documents, drawings, consultation responses, decision letters) the Council’s portal at herefordshire.gov.uk is where to go. This page is just a quicker window onto the same information.

  2. 02

Sometimes a day or two behind.

We refresh regularly, but a small lag is possible. Most updates appear within a day of the Council publishing them, occasionally up to two. If you don’t see something you were expecting, the council portal is the authoritative live view.

  3. 03

“In the parish” is parish-level, not address-level.

Applications are filtered by the parish recorded against each one. That’s how planning officers think about geography. Larger developments sometimes straddle parish boundaries; those show up in the “Within 3 km” section as well.

  4. 04

    Just the last 24 months.

Older cases that are still active won’t appear here; the council portal keeps the full historical record. The 24-month window is to keep the list focused on what’s actually in play right now.

  5. 05
